Draft pour enjoyed at Cycle, St. Pete. Pours a dark and dense jet black with a thin espresso brown head that quickly fades. What an exceptional blend this is. Thick first sip, full of dense chocolate notes, and smooth whiskey. Maple and oak later linger. Toasty, with a sweet caramel and maple flavor profile. Smooth and layered. Really nice blend all around here.

Pours black, no foam. Coconut (?) chunky flakes. Scent is typically cycle, coconut, super smooth. Juicy, chocolate. Vanilla, strawberry. Scoop is recognizable, but the coconut does present itself even stronger. BA profile is hidden. Taste is full, very roasty, intense creamyness. BA profile more clear here. Chocolate up front, vanilla, coconut and strawberry are more mild. Lovely, as expected.

Bottle, 22oz. A black one, oily, with no head. The aroma has lots of oxidation, in a nice way. The aroma has lots of dark chocolate, with cocoa, coffee notes and some beef stock. Coconut hints. It's full-bodied, warming and sweet on the palate. The flavor has roasted malts, coffee, dark chocolate, coconut, booze, some vanilla and wood. Brown sugar, coffee, dark chocolate, beef stock, coconut and a touch of vanilla in the finish. Nice indeed. 211231

Bottle at share. Let your hair down, it's Saturday. Black pour, ring of beige head, yada yada. Aroma is a triple whammy of chocolate, vanilla and strawberry, like when the neapolitan ice cream melts into one creamy puddle. Taste layers bourbon on thick over the ice cream-y flavors, sprinkle a little coconut on that sundae for full effect. Yummy! (Maybe this should have been Sunday [sundae, get, it?])
