Can, from Trader Joe's. Pours hazy rich lemon yellow with small frothy off-white head, citrus-pineapple aroma, adequate carbonation, mildly sweet citrus peel-pineapple taste with little bitterness seeping in towards the end, thin body, long medium bitter finish. Well balanced, flavorful, easy to drink.

16oz can split with Dad. Big, juicy IIPA. A lot of hop depth, with some malt tone. Drinks sort of big, sort of old school. Good

Very hazy light golden and perfectly straw coloured body with about 80 per cent opacity, all with a tall, four centimetre tall billowy, just off-white head that stays afloat nicely. Aroma of grass, flowers, pine, grapefruit, bitter resin and a lot of dry malty notes with some alcohol noticeable on the edges. Medium-bodied; Rich malts how at first and provide a great layer with some orange and peach fruitiness, but the end shows some very enjoyable hop notes with grass, hay, flowers all there and a soft bitterness on top of some caster sugar, resin and fructose sweetness. Aftertaste is clean, quite dry, but showing a ton of flavours with a great profile, nice complexity and almost flawless balance of sweetness and bitterness. Overall, this one was much better than expected! Some of Troeg's heavy beers have been too astringent and pungent, but this is the opposite - very well-structured and almost - showing LESS than 9 per cent [alcohol] with the nice malt and sugars, plus the fruits. Great to sample, fresh and relatively local - this one is worth trying to find! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Total Wine in Alexandria, Virginia on 24-October-2020 for US$4,99 sampled at my house here in Washington on 11-November-2020, Veteran's Day 2020, Cheers and Thank You to all the US Veterans who have served our country!

Nice aroma, citrusy, clean, smooth. Very good showing from Troegs. Personally say "sunshine in the rain" during these situations, though may have to start saying "the devil is beating his wife. " 🤣
