Altbewährt in modernem Outfit.

330ml bottle. Clear, orange golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Sweet-ish, starchy, pale malty aroma, a floral touch of honey. Taste is sweet-ish, slightly starchy, pale malty, a touch of honey, bitter hoppy counterpart; lingering, bitter hoppy finish. Dissolved sugar enriched, watery texture, smooth and soft palate, fine, soft carbonation. Clean, simple - not overly impressive.

Bottle. Golden low carbonation, white foam. grassy and light citric aromatic hops on a light bready background. Fullbodied, slightly sticky malt base with some fatty alcohol burn. Grassy hops almost but not quite balance it out. Chewy, light sparkles on the tounge, nice grassy and leafy aftertaste.

bottle, Dank nach Bochum! Clear golden colour, mid-sized white head. Full-bodied, malty with hints of honey, with some sharp and aromatic hoppy flavours in the finish, grassy and resiny.

(bottle, 33cl) Clear, pale golden colour with a blond mid-sized foamy head. Shy grainy pale malty aroma with notes of grassy hops. Moderately bitter and slightly sweet flavour, medium bodied with a moderate to slightly crisp carbonation. Delicately grainy malt-character with present grassy and slightly herbal hops, lingering into a dryish and moderately hop bitter finish with mainly grassy accents. Simple but drinkable pale Bock. 20.V.13

Bottle: Golden, clear, stable white head with a little lace, moderate pale-malty to grainy nose, also some barely detectable nutty traces and strawy hops in the nose; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, medium-bodied, unfortunately not so soft; slightly drier and hoppier malty-strawy finish. Decent, but not really exciting Bock…
