KØ19 as Herslev Dark Smoked Rye Saison. Mild smokey aroma. Cloudy dark brown colour. Small white head. The flavour is smokey. Nicely, mildly smokey. Creamy mouthfeel. Good. 838317

On tap at Ølfestivalen. Hazy amber with a lasting white head. Aroma of meaty smoke with dark bread and a touch of spice. Sweetish malty flavour with smoke.

From tap. Pours hazy dark brown, amber. Small off white head. Aroma is smoked, toffee. Caraemlish. Slight breadish. Smoked, slight estery. Slight swet. Bitter and smoked finish.

Draft. A hazy brown beer with a lazing yellowish head. The aroma has notes of smoke, caramel, yeast, and spices. The flavor is sweet with notes of smoke, caramel, bread, yeast, and spices, leading to a dry smokey finish.

Tap @ Koht. Dark mahogany pour with lots of foam on the top, getting slowly lower and reducing into just a thin layer of bubbles. Nose is a bit soapy, smoke yes but covered with that soap, light hint of bitterness. Tastes caramelly, light smoke and lots of malts. Some saison yeast spice but not really that apparent, subdued with overall malty caramelly character of this beer. Not bad but a bit meh I think.

Tap. Pours amber-copper with beige head. Aroma is smoke, ham, booze, caramel. Flavor is sweet and bitter, caramel, malt, smoke, ham, some booze. On tap at Alaus Biblioteka, pours a hazy dark amber with a small beige head. Aroma brings out earthy notes, moderate smoke, and light farmhouse notes. Flavour is along the same lines, with earthy smoke, saison yeast, and farmhouse notes. Nice blend of smoke and earthy yeast. Solid stuff.
