Bottle shared by Brian, thanks! Pours black with a a yellowish brown head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of coffee and roast with some dark grains and a hint of barrel and banana coming through. Flavor has a good amount of roasty banana and chocolate with bourbon and a bit of vanilla backing.

375ml @ Matt's new place. Appearance: very dark brown with a dark beige head. Aroma: tons of coffee, vanilla, and sweetness which obviously comes from bananas, but it would be quite hard for me to get considering the amount of coffee. Taste: super sweet, lots of coffee and banana the combination of which doesn't really work for me. Overall: too boozy and non-balanced for me.

Dark brown. Toasty aroma, with coconut. The palate is sweet, lots of dark sugar, touch of vanilla, super rich with alcohol, healthy bitterness, and an interesting character to it. Decent banana note, not oppressive, just blending in with the roasty notes. For something so intense I find it's well-balanced.

Poured from bottle. Black with minimal tan head. Lots of roasty coffee on the nose with some banana. Taste is very banana forward, hint of cocoa. Very nice blend, fairly mild vanilla. Quite nice. Enjoyable.

375mL bottle, pours jet black / motor oil black with a small dark brown head. Aroma brings out lots of bananas, oak, and a touch of vanilla, and perhaps a touch of coffee. Flavour is intensely banana-centric, with a huge amount of cocoa (even though there's none of it), followed by vanilla and dark sugars. Not much oak presence other than alcohol, nor much coffee. Boozy, banana-dominant, and full of dark sugars. Finishes chocolatey, boozy, and sugar, along with the intense banana. Lovely stuff.

Bottle pour shared by AirForceHops--thanks, Chris! It's an inky, oily black with nice viscosity, no sparkle, head, or lacing. Aroma is strong earthy malt, oak, banana (more prevalent as it warms), somewhat milder coffee and vanilla. Taste is strong earthy malt, oak, vanilla, coffee, chocolate, mild banana as it warms. Mouthfeel is full bodied with thick texture, no sign of alcohol, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, nice complexity and the aromas and flavors dance in and out with each other. If there's a knock, it's that the banana is muted, especially in the flavor.

Black with a brown head - Dark malt aroma with coffee - Dark malt body with coffee and fruity banana flavours - The dark malt with banana goes into the finish - This was real good

12.7 oz waxed. Aroma has notes of chocolate, coffee, banana, vanilla, wet stone, licorice. Pours inky black with a thin tan head that falls into a ring fairly quickly. Taste is highly sweet with some bitterness around the edges and a drying finish. Tastes of the adjuncts with banana being somewhat subtle and a nice woodiness from the Missouri oak. Seems faintly spicy, but I don’t know where that’s coming from. Coffee comes through clear and strong. Overall, it’s merely interesting than something I’d ever want to return to again, although it’s by no means bad.
