Aroma has notes of coconut, pouch tobacco, molasses, bourbon, vanilla. Taste is bittersweet with strong flavors of coconut and barrel aged goodness..

16 oz. can, pours jet black with a large brown bead. Nose is full of coconut, with medium roast and a hint of cocoa. Flavour is a big coconut bomb sitting on top of sturdy roasted malt base and accentuated by a bit of cocoa. Really great use of coconut and roast, with relatively low residual sweetness. Highly drinkable despite the gravity. Excellent.

16oz can from Boise Co-op. Near black pour with small creamy beige head. Roasty aroma, dark chocolate, light coconut. Coconut comes out more in the taste, no suntan oil here, more like a Mounds bar. Sweet, coconut, light chocolate and a clean finish.
