Bottle, 0.33l. Murky red/brown pour, no head. No lacing on the glass. Interesting nose, sweet, strong cinnamon notes, touch of honey. Herbal liquory notes in the background. Thin to medium body, medium carbonation. Average mouthfeel and texture, light and soft. Pleasantly sour taste with mild sweetness in the background. Aroma of forest fruits, cinnamon, jam, herbal liquor. Malt, yeasts. Subtle honey notes, well balanced. Expected a bit more spiciness, none of that here. Medium lasting finish, sour and dry. Pretty good.

Flaska från Khioskh drucken med ölföreningen. En julsuris. Konstigt att det dröjt så länge innan jag stött på en sådan. pepparkakor, kanel, ingefära, nejlikor, honung och tranbär. Blir inte för mycket utan funkar bra. Gott

Aktivitetsdag på Vaaland brygghus, en 0,33 flaske fra polet på Kilden, delt med skogsmatrosen: rødgylden med ok skum. Nydelig bæraroma (røde bær) og -smak med citrus og litt julekrydder i tillegg. Slank, spennende og forfriskende. Citrussyrlig afslutning med hint av kanel. Meget let drikkelig.
