Tap at Hopa, country #57. Pros: nicely incorporated, well rounded garlic notes. Cons: pretty one dimensional and thin.

Crazy foam. Smell-weak garlic, malt, bit like garlic bread. Foam- thin, malt, hops, faint garlic. Head is large, white or dirty white color, goes away quite fast. Appearance-brewer bottle cap, chemical label, somewhat like it. Clear ruby color, few carbonation bubbles. From- pint Taste- malty, some garlic-ish notes. Weird mix, feels like garlic bread mixed with beer. Cant call it bad, but I also cant say its something I will seek again.

Bottle from Lauvas Alus, Riga. No a good start as it pours a cloudy burgundy with no discernable head. It gets better though as the nose is strongly garlic. In the mouth there is a weird effect. Initially garlic, it slowly mutates to dark fruits. Just when to try to narrow down the fruitiness to a particular fruit – it turns back to garlic ! Strongly garlic in the finish as well. This is a great beer – probably my favourtie from Malduguns.

Bottle (thanks sten). Pours brown. Aroma is garlic, salt, cucumber. Flavor is sweet, garlic onion, malt. Overall: weird, but I don't mind it.

Bottle from Beerfox bottle shop. Pours dark brown, light does not penetrate through this and some white floating things inside. Beige layer of foam on the top. Roast caramel and roast acorns in the nose, hinting quite a beer. Tastes a bit sour actually, not sure if intentional or not, toasted caramel and good bitterness in the background. Garlic is kind of gone for me, can't really put my finger on it. Dry roasted bitterness lingering in the finish. Pleasant enough but for some reason not sure if its supposed to be that sour (not much but still recognisable). Garlic coming out in the after-burp. Wow, loads of it, garlic bread flavoured :)
