16 ounce can from Tavour. Pale gold color is crystal clear. Frothy white head. Aroma of mild smoke and grainy malt. Flavor is light and crisp with a sweet smokiness. Very approachable and eminently drinkable. Underneath the subtle smokiness lies a hint of lemon peel. Dry , herbal hop finish.

,16oz can from Tavour. Clear golden pour, spotty white foamy head. Light smoky aroma. Taste is more smoke and bready malts. For me, who enjoys this style, the smokiness is very mellow. A bit of dry, bitterness at the finish. Very smooth and approachable

Can from RB not so secret Santa: pours gold with whitish head. Very light smokiness, probably lighter than Schenkerla Helles. Grainy, bready. Taste is sweet, light smoke, low bitterness. Fine.

16oz @ Ryan's. Appearance: hazy dirty straw with a white head. Aroma: smoky, malty, some hoppy character. Taste: along the same lines with abrasive hoppy bitternes. Overall: nah.

Dull and pale with haze. Just a thin head. Lots of smoke, and the malt is a bit sweet. There's a bit of sweetness but it's drier on the palate than the nose hinted at. That bit of heavy malt isn't quite right, but there is some good smoke in there.

16 oz. can, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma reveals a nice gentle campfire smokiness upfront, with a nice bready malt base. Flavour is along the same lines, with nice, gentle campfire smoke, straw and biscuity malt. Gently smoky, clean and bright. Good stuff.
