Imperial stout aged in Chocolate Rye Whiskey and Bourbon barrels for a year. The barrels were blended with chocolate, espresso, pecans, vanilla and coconut. It's like a slice of rich German Chocolate cake in a glass!

Aroma of chocolate, coconut, bourbon, soy sauce, toffee, some molasses. Tastes similar, moderate boozy. Medium, oily mouthfeel, with a moderate carbonation. Finishes sweet, medium roasty, with chocolate, coconut, bourbon, toast, some booze. Tasty! Not too heavy, with a lovely mix of sweet, some robust and bourbon notes. Liquid dessert. Taster From bottle at home. Black color, small coffee colored head. smells vanilla, coconut, nutty, spices, bitter cocolate. Very nice smell. full body, soft carbonation. tastes vanilla, nutty, coconut, bitter cocolate, earthy. finishes lightly sweet with notes of coconut, vanilla and bitter chocolate

Draft: Poured a pitch black with no head really. Aroma is chocolate, roasted malts, vanilla. Taste is sweet chocolate, boozy, toffee, vanilla, dark cherry.

Taster at Barbarian. Slick brown pour, flat. Aroma, like the name says, is German chocolate cake. Taste is chocolate and coconut, sweet. Really nice.

On tap at the brewery pours out black topped with a small ring of tan head. Nose is sweet chocolate coconut and some vanilla. Taste is more of the sweet chocolate roast malts vanilla coconut.

On tap at the downtown taproom Murky deep brown. Tzhin tan head. Aromas of big sweet chocolatey and coconut. Quite sweet and boozy, lots more chocolate and coconut flavors. Quite sweet actually. Didnt love this one.
