12oz bottle from Ratman. Nose is cherry and cocoa with a hint of bourbon. Black with a big, heavy lacing, tan head. Flavor is a chocolate covered cherry injected with a 3 drop dose of bourbon through a hypodermic needle.

12oz bottle. Near black pour, head fades. Aroma is roasty and sweet, fruity. Taste adds in sweet cherries, chocolate, light roasty notes and a pleasant burn. Nice.

12oz bottle pours with a dark mahogany colored body that supports a thin light tan head of foam. The aroma offers up brown sugar, a dash of plum and cheery followed by a bit of chocolate. The taste delivers a blend of roasted malts and chocolate and then quickly flowing into sweet fruity cherry to plum like notes. To midway it becomes even sweeter with malts and molasses and meekly reduced sugars. A few more sips and the cherry and fruit notes become a little more of a burden. Not sure this is working that great. It's not bad but rather it just isn't working.

Lots of cherry in this and a lot less stout. Like chocolate covered cherries really. Dar mahogany pour with ok head. Bittersweet and tangy finish. Tap at Angels Trumpet.
