330ml bottle. Jet black colour with small to average, thick, frothy to creamy, half-way lasting, moderately lacing, tan head. Roasty, chocolately, slightly fruity and minimally yeasty spicy aroma, notes of dark chocolate, hints of couverture, chocolate cookies, some blueberry, a very cautious touch of something close to marmite. Taste is dry, roasty, chocolately dark malty, minimally yeasty spicy and fruity, notes of dark chocolate, Belgian chocolate, dry cocoa, a touch of blueberry, very cautious, marmite-like spiciness, minimally ashy overtones. Slightly viscous texture, smooth and soft, silky, minimally cloying palate, very fine, soft carbonation. Neither overly rich nor deep or manifold. Rather anaemic for an Impy Stout.
