--Sample, thanks oh6gdx! -- Peaty Islay aroma with coffee and caramel. Sweet with full body and rounded, somewhat viscous mouthfeel. Coffee with sugar, syrup caramel and peaty Laphroig. Warming finish. Sweet but not disturbingly so, lots of lovely Laphroig.

Pure lagavulin barrel. Not that that's necessarily a bad thing.

Bottle (from Alko web). Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is smoked, some peated and liquorice, chocolate tones with mild alcohol and some smoked wooden tones to it. Flavour is peat smoked, some alcohol, chocolate, roasted tones with mild liquorice and some earthy tones. Brutal, but still rather smooth in a way.

33cl bottle from Sip, Tallinn. Pours pitch black with a rather modest, tanned head. Smokey, peaty whisky is the smell. Roasty, peaty and moderate smokey with mild wooden notes, hints of dried dark fruits and licorice. As Islay whisky in general is a favourite, and Lagavulin in particular (together with Ardbeg) - this works quite well for me. Feels a bit thin, but rather easy to drink and not too sweet. Certainly enjoyable....
