This refreshing coper-colored IPA with a punchy fragrance, crisp flavour and bitter aftertaste is a must for every thirsty drinker. The subtle spiciness and startling bitterness are well-balanced and very friendly. This balance makes Krab a characteristic but flexible IPA that invites for a second.

25/IV/25 - 33cl bottle from Mr. Hop (webshop) @ Peter’s 50th birthday party, Cabane Banane (Gent), BB: n/a (2025-412) Thanks to Peter for sharing today’s beers!

Clear orange beer, small creamy off-white head, unstable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: very malty, grains, yeasty, cow fodder, little fruity. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: malty, a little fruity, some citrus, bitter, ok. Aftertaste: bitter, fruity, orange peel, unpleasant bitterness, malty, grains, meh. Not really an IPA now, is it?

Bottle from a local bottle shop. Aroma is modestly hoppy with malt, orange, soft floral notes, pale malt, hint of caramel. Cascade hops? Flavour is moderate bitter and light to mild sweetish. Body is medium. Likeable, classic ripe orange hops.
