The sweet pain of our pointless wondering. Our inability to communicate openly and honestly that leads us to lies and destruction. The siren song of trivial pleasures that wheedles us forever. An express road spiced with carefully picked jokes through opportunities lost. All this has been carefully and with ultimate precision inserted into this beer.

“The Sun Also Rises” is a double IPA, matured in the Cuban rum casket – an escapist distraction to the hedonistic world binding and demolishing the styles, showing you there is no solution there.

Meie sihitu uitamise magus valu.

Not much IPA left. Thick, loads of rum, quite bitter. Not sure what exactly I'm drinking.. a bit fun, but not really my kind of thing.

33cl bottle from SIP, Tallinn. The beer pours amber in color with a thick foamy white head. Aroma has wood, barrel, rhum, resin and leather. Interesting. Resiny, woody, rhum warmth, malts and hops. Realky interesting brew. Really good give 3.5-4.0, depending on the mood. Every sip gives something new. Complex.

Pours dark amber, some beige foam, looks quite dark and muddy. Aroma has some peat smoke, light dried figs, plums, interesting herbal hop kick. Flavor is quite thick, bitterness is mixing with peat smoke and lots of wooden barrel character. Lemon and grape seed mixed in as well. Quite interesting combination, doesn't really blend together flawlessly but still interesting brew.

33cl bottle from Sip, Tallinn. Pours clear deep golden with a modest, white head. Hoppy at first, more boozy and wooden as it gains temperature. Malty and rather hoppy aroma with herbs, pine and wooden notes. Medium sweet with medium flavour intensity and a fairly bitter and somewhat dry finish. Unusual and fairly interesting.
