On tap at Ebenezers, Crewe. Pours “bitter brown” with a small off-white head and good lacing. The aroma is generally fruity with oranges to the fore, plus hints of floral hops. In the mouth it is initially sweet but with an underlying bitterness that gradually increases. Slightly watery and tangy as well. Flavour has shred cut marmalade and caramel. Later there are traces of grains and hops, leading to a dry and slightly sticky finish. This is decent enough but a bit thin for an ESB.

Clear amber beer, thick frothy white head. Light hoppy aroma. Flavour has a little zesty citrus, bitter hop, a bit of maltiness, maybe just a hint of something floral. Decent body. It's a fairly straightforward bitter but the twist of citrus is nice.

440ml can from Burnt Mill. Gluten Free. Orange amber colour, bubbly off white foam head leaving lacing and aroma of juicy orange, hops, floral, with grainy, earthy hints. Taste is sweetish, malt, caramel, juicy, orange citrus, fruity, floral with some earthy hop bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying tangy fruity bitter finish. Nicely drinkable.
