Mountain Goat Hazy Apple Cider is made from freshly pressed and cool-fermented Victorian apples, giving it an opaque, pale-yellow hue.
Balanced using a blend of red varieties for sweetness and Granny Smith for lift,
this crafted cider is lively, yet balanced, with a clean and softly textured mouthfeel.
Whether served over ice or enjoyed straight from the can, it’s a totally refreshing delight.

Draft at the Longueville Hotel, Lane Cove, Sydney. Poured a hazy yellow golden colour with a round frothy white head. The aroma is crushed apple. The flavour is strong sweet, with a somewhat light, crisp, light herbal, sweet sugary palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. A real sugary sweety without much else.

375ml can from BWS, Kingsgrove. Hazy pale yellow colour, short-lived white head and aroma of apple, pulpy. Taste is sweet, apple, fruity, citric, with some light acidity. Medium bodied, light carbonation, sweet finish. OK.

375ml into glass. From BWS, Glen Innes. Pours a hazy yellow. High carbonation. Zero head. Tart apple nose, hint of malt/crumble. Refreshing, cleansing. Good body. Lots of apple, not too much acidity or fizz. really easy drinking. Excellent commercial cider, hints of sweet apple crumble really nail it for me.
