In 2020 the ancient Flakey Bark trees delighted us once more - they had a great year with superb fruit sugars and tannins, powerful and present. After three years of maturation this perry is an incredible expression of time, fruit and place. Only six mature Flakey Bark trees exist in the world and the flavour of this variety is unlike any other, full of texture, and contrasting sweetness and playful astringency. An experience no other variety can provide.

750ml bottle from Ross on Wye. For #rgpm. Clear bright golden colour, white bubbly foam head that dissipates to a thin layer and aroma of perry pear, caramel. Taste is sweetish, ripe fruity, perry pear, mellow, with hints of caramel and mouth drying tannin. Medium bodied, light carbonation, very dry tannic finish. Nicely drnkable,
