The idea behind this unique collaboration was to brew a filtered, strong, top-fermented beer. This wonderful specialty is the combination of two brewing philosophies - this seems crystal-clear when you take a look at the raw materials: Hops from Belgium, from the immediate area around St. Bernardus, Weihenstephan yeast, Bavarian malt - and water from Freising. The beer is of course brewed in accordance with the Purity Law of 1516. Spicy, with a characteristic yeast note, fruity and strong with 6.5% alcohol: Braupakt 2024 flatters the palate with these characteristics.

Pear and white grape nose. Crystal clear amber, thick sticky head. White grape, grass . Medium body, moderate carbonation.

Medium, regular, white head, fed by finely carbonated golden beer. Very yeasty nose, "hot" malts, grains, grains' dust, nettles, fusels, vanilla. More nettles, spicy grains, summerwheat. Some burning MF, referring to the yeast, obviously very determinant; toast. "Hot" as said, some slickness, medium carbonation, medium bodied. Quite decent - wondering what each brewery brought in. Geprobeerd met LiekevdV, Inoven en fam op Brew@TheZoo. Het is een goudgeel bier met een volle witte schuimkraag. Het heeft een aroma van mout en hop. De smaak is moutig, zacht zoet, gist, banaan en hop.

Glas gedronken tijdens Brew@theZoo. Goudgeel helder bier, heftig schuimend tijdens tappen. Aroma van gist en mout. Smaak is zacht, hoppig en moutig. Nasmaak is licht bitter.

Aromas are malt, spice, fruit and a bit of yeast. Flavors are similar to nose. Tastes kind of like a Belgian blonde. Nice balance between sweet, bitter and carbonation and leaning a bit sweet. Not bad but nothing really new.

Tap at Brewdog Camden. A clear bright gold yellow coloured pour with a a rocky white head. Aroma is semi sweet, nutty malts, hints of smoke, bacon frazzels. Grassy. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, soft, nutty malts, marshmallow, bacon smoke, frazzels, easy going. Palate is semi sweet, soft, mellow carbonation. Good.

Taster at Liquor Express. Pours a clear, dark, orange color, with a big, foamy, white head. The nose is caramel, pine, orange cream, and biscuit dough. Sweet and yeasty, with a mild, pleasant bitterness. Light body, crisp, and clean. Bright, easy, and delicious.
