The idea behind this unique collaboration was to brew a filtered, strong, top-fermented beer. This wonderful specialty is the combination of two brewing philosophies - this seems crystal-clear when you take a look at the raw materials: Hops from Belgium, from the immediate area around St. Bernardus, Weihenstephan yeast, Bavarian malt - and water from Freising. The beer is of course brewed in accordance with the Purity Law of 1516. Spicy, with a characteristic yeast note, fruity and strong with 6.5% alcohol: Braupakt 2024 flatters the palate with these characteristics.

--Sample, thanks fonefan! -- Clear golden, small head. Floral hop aroma with mild phenols and marzipan. Mid sweet witj medium body and soft mouthfeel. Banana and floral hops on crackery malt. Mid bitter finish. Beautifully cafted.

Bottle from Beer Lovers, Wien. Golden color with medium white head. Floral aroma, grainy malt, light spices, cloves. Taste starts grainy malty followed by spices, banana esters, phenols. Touch of citrus hops. Good one.

Sample (thanks fonefan, had as Weihenstaphan Braupakt 2024). Yellowish golden colour, small white head. Aroma is floral, fruity, some mild nectary and toffeeish tones. Flavour is floral, fruity, some nectary and mild wheaty tones with a bit wheat yeast and belgo ale spiciness.

Bottle from the Weihenstephan shop. Spicy, citrusy, estery nose, with wheat, cloves, light banana, lemon, spicy yeast. Medium gold with a tall head. Wheaty, malty, lightly sweet, nice hops, esters. A very interesting hybrid that really presents characteristics of a hefeweizen and a Belgian singel. Quite nice.

En tulipa, color dorado claro, brillante, corona de espuma cremosa y abundante de buena retención. Aroma a levadura, malta, cereal, especias, ligero toque floral. En boca el trago se siente algo crujiente, , cuerpo medio, principio ligeramente dulce y afrutado, con notas de malta, uva blanca, cereal pan, con un final de trago más bien amargo y especiado. Un buen tándem para crear una rica cerveza.

Bright gold with a huge foamy white head that lingered. Sweet, yeasty and phenolic with bubblegum and a hint of medicine. Long finish. Medium body. Disappointing.

Bottle. Gold with a dense cm+ of white head that leaves plenty of lacing. Spicy aroma with honeyed dough. So it tastes. Fairly sweet, pretty yeasty, bitterness is a bit on the low side for me. Pretty classy Blonde.
