Wing Walker is part of the Record Breaker series which is inspired by some of the greatest and weirdest world records. In 2022, a 95 years old daredevil strapped himself to a plane and propelled himself into the record books. We like to take risks as well and have pushed this NEDIPA to the limit! Fueled and ready to go this brew is injected with 16 G/L New Zealand hops creating jet streams of tropical fruit, citrus, grapefruit, and pine. Time to put your seats in the upright position and get ready for takeoff!

Can at home. A bit old.... Very cloudy orange golden. Massive peach, oats, mango, sugary dough, soft alcohol, guava, light grassy. Solid sweet and lighter bitter. Over medium bodied, quite creamy. OK, this is not very fresh but still quite alright!

(Draught at Hopfenreich, Berlin, 17 Aug 2024) Cloudy golden colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with citrus, tropical fruit, pineapple and papaya. Fruity, hoppy taste with notes of tropical fruit, citrus, pineapple, papaya, pine needles, white bread and a balanced citric/tropical bitterness in the finish. Almost full body, with a certain sweetness. On the sweet side, but juicy and hoppy. Nice one.

Pours a murky dark yellow/light orange colour and a firm white head with reasonable retention and good lacing. Aroma's of citrus fruit, zesty, stone fruit, light dank hops, light sweet. Retronasal it starts much sweeter, sweet fruit, increasingly dank, some bitterness too. Later on the sweetness decreases to make way for sour tropical fruit. Flavour is fairly bitter and light moderate sweet. Medium bodied. Prickly carbonation. Finish is quite bitter, almost ashy. Good, but not entirely balanced.
