Bottle, 6.0%. Powerful blackcurrant aroma. Dark chestnut colour, red shine, seems hazy. Good tan head. The flavour is quite citric with a little sweetness and a good blackcurrant note. Fairly acidic and quite refreshing.

330ml bottle. Dark chestnut colour with wonderful ruby shimmer and average, firm, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Sweet-ish and tart-ish, fruity aroma, notes of cherry, blackcurrant, red and blue berries. Taste is sour, fruity, minimally dry woody, tangy, subtle sweetness, notes of blackcurrant, hints of cherry, morello, red and blue berries, a touch of blue grapes. Watery texture, smooth, minimally dry palate, fine, prickly carbonation. Well balanced, harmonious, integrated - very good.

Bottle. No idea where from. Possibly Buxton Tap. Clear, deep ruby red. Semi lacing, lasting, dense, off white foam. Nose has loads of black currants and sweet raspberries. Chocolate cherry truffle. Touch of vanilla. Light, sour oak. Smells great. Taste, however, doesnโt seem to live up. Some tart fruit. Pretty dry. Minimal sweetness. Quite watery on the palate. High, foamy carbonation. Tart and dry finish. Sets off great...

Bottled 30JAN17. Fairly dark. Smells vinegary sour, sharp, raspberry. Taste is heavy sourness, vinegar, but after a few sips the fruit comes along. Lots of cherry, with some raspberry freshness in the back. Pretty drying, lots of cherry lingering. Oak.

Pours hazy, dark ruby red, topped with a large and slowly settling offwhite head. Gentler soury nose, lots of berries and black currant. Moderately soury, puckery with medium bitterness, a bit leathery. Very dry finish. Medium body. Nice one.
