On tap @ BPBW. Pretty damn heavy brew, this is. Packed with grainy, chocolatey notes and has a huge boozy character too. I dig it tho.

Draught@Craft Beer Helsinki 2018. Black colour, small head. Aroma is sweet malts, toffee, mild roast and some berry notes. Flavour is sweet malts, alcohol, some fruits, dried fruits and mild nectary notes. Quite much bitterness to it as well.

Sample draught @ SWAFFF! 2019 Brussels Craft Beer Festival (1st day) shared with BE RB crew and other gentle people there. F: thin, tan, average retention. C: amber to brown, hazy. A: rich malty, caramel, mellow fruity, vinous, toffee, complex. T: full malty base, vinous, caramel, mellow fruity, dried fruits, toffee, bit vanilla, lower carbonation, very good, fully enjoyed.

Draft sample @ Swafff '19. Ambre sur col fin beige. Arôme marqué par de belles effluves de Bourbon, léger vanillé, rétro malté caramel / pâle / ambre, petite note sucrée avec léger fruité. Palais est plaisant mettant bien en avant les notes de barrique - léger vanille, note collante aux lèvres, aspect un peu anglais dans l'approche avec une fine amertume qui reste présente.Alcool passe en retrait remet le Bourbon sur le devant.

I Draught /I Transparant yellowish bubbles over fully hazy reddish beer. Incense, herbs, fortified wine, grapes on spirit. Felt, cardboard, old jam. Maple syrup in the taste, molasses, mead/braggot, fruity esters, fusels, agave syrup; some hopbitter, but subdued. Very well-bodied, alcoholheat, viscous, fiery. Iconic American Barley wine.

Draught, taster. Sampled on the 16/03/2019 at Barcelona Beer Festival 2019, (L´Hospitalet, Spain). Brown colour with a low white head. Aroma is wood barrels, tannins and caramel. Taste is intense wood barrels, tannins, some bourbon and dried fruits. Finish is thick, long sweet and smooth. Next one please!
