Bottle bought several years back, brewed Feb'19 but hey it's an impy. Motor oil black, almost no head. Nose is a bit sweet and a bit of soy, whiff of Belgian medium dark chocolate. Very little carb. Flavor is superb, super silky full body with coffee-like roast notes. Nice big bitterness, and sweetness is not overwhelming esp. for a ten percenter. Very nice imperial!

Draught @ Åben, Aarhus. Pours black with a creamy brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, rich dark chocolate, cocoa, cocoacake. Flavor is light sweet, rich malty, caramel, chocolate, cake, light alcohol. Medium body, average carbonation, sweet finish with light warming alcohol. 251020

Tap @Åben, Aarhus. Black, thick light brown head. Heavy malty aroma, cocoa and vanilla. Thick, fluffy mouthfeel. Sweet flavour, heavy malty with cocoa and light vanilla. Powerful, nicely balanced.

Bottle at Nick's. Pours black, nose is chocolate cake, vanilla, caramel, taste is similar, toffee, quite sweet.

Bottled 330ml. -from Goblet Zagreb. Pitch black coloured, medium size brown head, cocoa and vanilla in the nose. Roasted malt, chocolate, notes of cocoa and vanilla with touch of alcohol ad licorice. Bit on a sweet side but very good brew.

ABV: 10.0%. Cloudy - hazy dark black brown colour with a large, frothy - creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light brown head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, cocoa, vanilla, oat, rich, moderate coffee. Flavor is light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, chocolate, coffee, vanilla, cocoa, malty, rich, oat. Body is medium to full, texture is oily - creamy, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming and light alcoholic. [20200502]
