The Floreffe Cuvée Spéciale was brewed in a limited edition on the occasion of the 900th anniversary of the Floreffe Abbey. The original recipe of the Floreffe Double was further perfected by an infusion of herbs in cognac, creating a unique taste sensation.

Clear red brown beer, small creamy beige head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: lots of black liquorice, ripe banana, a bit fruity, apples and pears, a bit oxidized. MF: lively carbon, medium to light body. Taste: ripe banana, a little bitter, black liquorice, a little watery, caramel, sweet, a bit oxidized, some ripe banana. Aftertaste: cognac, a little bitter, yeasty, ripe banana, spicy, some liquorice.
