Tap at IPH Robinson. Listed simply as Fat Head’s Belgian Blonde, so I hope this is the right place to put this rating. Clear pale, nice head. Slight smell of bandaid. Decent co2 with hints of lemon peel in the taste at first. Unrefined saison yeasty effects. Needs a few more manners for a belgian ale my friends, typical domestic wannah bee. JMHO, but what do I know about beer? Go figger.

Sampled on draft this beer poured a dark amber color with a medium sized foamy white head that faded quickly and left minimal lacing. The aroma was grainy and wheaty with faint phenol and bubblegum. The flavor was grainy with cracker, yeast, phenol and bubblegum. Medium length finish of grain and phenol. Medium body. Meh.

On tap at Fat Head's Portland, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out Belgian yeast, crackery malt and more yeast. Flavour is well-constructed, with Belgian yeast, light fruity esters and a touch of sweetness. Really well-made, with a really good balance that boasts high drinkability. Good stuff.

Draft @ the source 11/26/14. Not much in the way of aroma, mild yeast. Clear gold color without any head. Flavor is weak clove and Belgian yeast. Lighter body with a mild yeast ester finish. Easy to drink.

Keg at the brewpub in PDX, 09/11/14. Clear golden with a moderate off white covering. Nose is candied fruit peel, straw, Belgian yeast esters, spice. Taste comprises vanilla, caramel, fruit rinds, spice, sweet notes, light citrics. Medium body, fine carbonation, semi drying close. So so, adequate Belgo offering, wouldn’t return to this one tbh.

Very pale yellow 1 finger creamy head fades and sticks around a little. Almost no nose at all. Sharp acidity, woody yeasty and sweet all at once. a bit of corn and pilsen malt finish is very dry and overly bitter very interesting
