16 ounce can from Jenkintown brewery. Barely translucent dark brown color. Pillowy tan head. Subtle roasted malt aroma. Big roasted malt flavor upfront. Notes of dark chocolate, treacle and dark dried fruits. Tasty.

Tap at Prague Beer Fest 2024. Blackish-brown body, off-white head. Green apple and light honey along with pleasant roastiness in the aroma. Lean, dry, sharp taste, smokey, honeyish notes, roast, nice malt profile mostly, but too bitter.

So smooth, little chocolate, figs, get that warming feeling from the booze, but you can’t taste it.

Draught at HR Süd: pours black with beige head. Aroma is molasses and cocoa. Taste is sweetish, malty, booze is well covered.
