On tap at Hops Craft Beer Pub Graz. Hazy orange/golden coloured, medium sized white head, tropical fruits in the nose. Sweet malty, oaty, tropical fruits and light herbal with mild citrusy touch in the finish. Slightly juicy.

Can, Bevog webshop. Hazy orange golden, large and lasting white head. Tropical fruity nose, a bit genler but nice and sweet. Moderate bitterness, sharp. Dry finish. Lasting aftertaste. Light body. A bit too sharp, a bit hard to drink.

Trübe gelbe Farbe mit weißer Schaumkrone. Grasig hopfiger, malziger, fruchtiger Geruch. Geschmacklich grasig hopfig, fruchtig mit Citrus, malzig. Mittlere Süße mit hoher Bitterkeit, mittlerer Körper mit spürbarer Kohlensäure.

Tap at Prague Beer Fest 2024. Hazy golden-yellow body, off-white head. Gum and resin dominate the aroma. Gum, resin, light citrus, light hopburn but also nicely a light, pleasant bitterness too. Okay overall, some loved it and I can appreciate that!

Benannt ist dieses Bier nach dem Schuhschnabel (Balaeniceps rex), einem Vogel 🐦 aus der Familie der Pelikane🦤. Auffällig und auch namensgebend ist der Schnabel, der die Form eines Holzschuhs hat. Bedroht ist er durch die Zerstörung und Trockenlegung seiner sumpfigen Heimat besonders im Sudd um Südsudan🏞️. Das Bier ist ein äußerst intensives NEIPA, von denen die Brauerei sehr viele im Angebot hat, die meist auch vorzüglich schmecken. Dieses sehe ich eher im Mittelfeld. Es hat durchazs schöne hopfige Noten, aber wirkt nicht so balanciert wie viele andere solcher Biere.
