It's always a pleasure to welcome our neighbours from Cyclic Beer Farm down to Garage HQ. Their take on elegant, tart, mixed fermentation ales is a thing of beauty so we wanted to use some of that elegance in creating a kettle sour beer that steals from that playbook. This one was all about delicately balancing ingredients to bring complexity to an easy drinking sour beer. Careful use of hibiscus, orange blossom water, vanilla and cinnamon result in a beer with a beautiful red hue that brings memories of Mexican agua de Jamaica and cranberry sauce that is paired with Christmas dinner. A dry finish with a slight rounding sweetness from the vanilla make for a very drinkable sour ale.

Canned 440ml. -at Ambasada Zagreb, shared with Marko. Purple coloured, medium sized pinkish head, lactose and light hibiscus in the nose. Hibiscus, vanilla, lactose, touch of berries and discreet cinnamon touch in the finish.

Can at Ambasada with Ogi. Misty purple body, pink head. Honeyish hibiscus in the aroma, sour-salty aroma. Hibiscus and cinnamon, vaguely citric, sourish, ending sweet and sourish, lighty earthy.
