Bottle 0.375l, three and half years aged. Black, opaque. AROMA- rum, liquor, strongly chocolate, maple syrup, coffee, bourbon. FLAVOR- really sweet, quite bitter, pleasant alcohol, maple syrup, bourbon, tobacco, roasted. Full bodied.
Well, I don't like so sweet stouts very much, but this one is great. Bitter enough, well balanced, rich.

Bottle at Drinkøteka, huge thx BuckeyeBoy! Huge aroma, creamy coffee, light maple, caramel, vanilla, fresh despite the years. Lean, dry taste, caramel, cocoa, coconut, light fruity touches, bit astringent, very well hidden alcohol. Maple too, both of which is fine. Great stuff still!

375ml bottle pours out black topped with a tan head. Nose is nice sweet chocolate roast malts coffee forward nice bourbon barrel vanilla notes. Taste is more of the nice sweet chocolate roast malts coffee rich coffee bourbon barrel and some vanilla.

Dark brown, small brown head. Aroma is sweet roasted malty, A lot of coffee, some dark carmel, a bit dusty cellar, the aroma notes blend well and work well to create a very nice rustic non-sweet aroma. (i know i contradict myself here). Somehow the cellary note plays super well with the dark or burnt caramel and coffe as well as roasted malts top it all up. flavor is roasted malts, honey like sweetness (certanly the maple syrup) coffee, faint cellary note, tastes like a port wine cellar in an old mansion dungeon might smell.
