This beer represents the constant and productive tension between untamed nature and human refinement, showing a careful expression of local terroir and the spirit of the seasons while exhibiting the boasting qualities of the best fruits. It consists of a blend of beers coolshipped under the stars, spontaneously fermented and aged in oak barrels for one, two and three years, married with local organic sour cherries. It is made entirely from local organic ingredients, little homage to local agriculture shaped by graceful hand of time. This vintage is finally a blend of three seasons of beer making and two seasons of fruit harvest from an organic cherry orchard in Southern Bohemia. I am very proud of this one, finally having enough ripe and aged beers to make richer blends packed with fruit. It has a lot of deep cherry flavours, a lot of spice, nutmeg, cinnamon, vanilla and mulled wine-like character. All the while, having a lot of energy and brightness to make it an easy drinker.

Bottle @ Væskebalancen Bar. 5,3% ABV. Pours almost clear deep red with a small offwhite head. Aroma of light sourness, light malt, yeast, light wood, cherries. Flavor is sour, light bitter, little malt, yeast, light wood, sour cherries, bitter cherry stone. Medium body, average carbonation, dry, bitter and acidic finish. 211224

Funky and tart with some cherry juice, hints of sourness and earthiness. Quite balanced

Bottle pour by the brewer at Winter Affair. Misty ruby-purple body with traces of a pinkish head. Light aroma, cherry, some saliva and light soft funk. Lean, light taste, though he did state it's strong for his concept of beer, minerally, lovely sour cherry profile, lightly salty, lightly tart, nicely drinkable. Not as impressive for me as the plum that preceded it, but very good!

Bottle at home. Deep red with pinkish head. Loads of cherries, pithy marzipan, some cinnamon. Highly drinkable and quite intense for the abv.

Flaska från Métaphore, 2022. Backlog. Tjusigt varmröd med rosaröd krona. Rejäl körsbärsbomb. Intense. Körsbärskärnor, mandel och mandelmassa, kanel. Väldigt drickbart, men kanske något enspårig i bärigheten.
