This spicy, full Beer with its reddish colour is very complex. The Saphir aroma hop gives to the beer the required freshness and the top fermenting yeast add fruity ester flavours. Despite the high original gravity it has a good drinkability and can be enjoyed at all opportunities.

Draught @ the brewpub Very good, dense & fine yellow- cream head over dark amber, veiled beer with lively carbonation. Rings of lace. Quite nutty nose, bit of chocolate, bread & parsley. Again nutty, bready, milk chocolate, dark grains, wholemeal bread, wheat, light banana. Light to medium bodied, quite slick, good carbonation. Decent.

On tap @Batzen Brau (Bolzano). Color ambrato/miele di castagno, intensa, mediamente torbida, schiuma bianco-sporco media. Al naso note di malto, caramello, zucchero di canna, banana. In bocca è dolce, con sentori fruttati di banana e di caramello, chiusura amara a bilanciare. Corpo medio, carbonazione media. Buona.

20/III/21 - 33cl bottle @ GBV Outside Mead Tasting, BB: 3/XII/20 (2021-215) Thanks to Jan for sharing the bottle!

Cloudy dark amber beer, small aery irregular off-white head, unstable, falls down quickly. Aroma: DMS, cabbage, sulphur, weird, some caramel, banana, sweet touch, yeasty, pretty dirty, not very nice. MF: lively carbon, medium body. Taste: very sour, lemony, weird, infected? A bit malty, spicy, caramel, overripe banana, little bitter. Aftertaste: bitter, sourish, dirty, funky, lots and lots of overripe banana, weird stuff.

Dunkel hefiger, bockig karamelliger Beginn. Mild bananig, etwas süß, rund. Langer würzig-süßlicher Abgang, süffig, weich. Gut. 9/10/11/10/9/11

Tap at ammutson. Pours opaque copper with whiteish head. Aroma is sweet, wheay, banana, caramel. Flavor is sweet and bitter, wheat, caramel, banana. Overall: great.
