Sample (thanks fonefan!). Black colour, small white head. Aroma is chocolate, some roasted tones, mild toffee and some lactose tones. Flavour is fruity, floral, some roasted, liquorice and some slight milky tones. A bit strange. But not in a bad way.

On tap at Christian Firtal Pale Ale Festival. Dark brown with a lasting off-white head. Roasted aroma with coffee beans and toast. Sweetish roasted flavour with fruity hops and a light bitter finish. A stout-ish take on a black IPA.

Tap at Lya because this has been hyped up to me at PBF but they had it only on the tasting, hah. Shared with Cuso. Lemony and limey hoppy notes on a nutty background in the aroma. Nice chocolate roasty, nutty malty body backed beautifully by a piney-citric hoppiness. Yeah, more of an American Stout perhaps, but a very tasty hoppy dark ale however you look at it!

Can at Prague Beer Festival. Med-full body, nice silky smooth mouthfeel, med-high carbonation. Med-high bitterness, light sweetness. Med-light chocolatey maltiness, med-high grassy, a bit of dank hops character. Very easy drinking, very good.

Tap@Skaal, Copenhagen (08/09/2022) - black with a nice puffy beige head. Roasted malty and solid hoppy with undercurrents of tropical fruit, firm ashy earthy roast, singed brown sugar, medium plus body, robust hoppy and roasted lingering close. Very nice BiPA action. --- Beer merged from original tick of Kerfuffle on 26 Mar 2025 at 11:44 - Score: 7.
