Si presenta leggermente velata e con un colore ambrato. La schiuma di color avorio è fine, compatta e poco persistente. Al naso un delicato sentore di cereale e biscotto accompagna una nota speziata caratteristica del lievito utilizzato per questo stile tradizionale tedesco. In bocca si percepisce una finissima carbonatazione. Il gusto morbido e dolce di cereale maltato è ben bilanciato da una buona luppolatura che conferisce delicati sentori floreali e una piacevole secchezza finale.

Keg at the brewpub in Milan. A bloody half litre. A dull copper coloured pour with a big frothy beige coloured head. Aroma is raw earthy grains, rustic brown bread, mineral, toast, grassy hop. Flavour is composed of earthy toasted brown bready malts, straw, grassy hop matter, little cakey malts. Palate is semi sweet, raw grainyness, moderate carbonation semi crisp finish.

On tap at Ma Che pub in Rome-Italy. Amber pur, a bit hazy with a decent head. Nose is caramel, a coffee-amber malts note, a bit floral. Mouth: not much of the yeasty-bready expected but truly clean and well executed brew. A bit caramel, very clean roasted character.
