Sampled at Cider World Expo 2024 Frankfurt. A clear rose colour. Aroma and Taste of dry reddish apples, sulfur, dry, easy to drink.

Bottle, 75cl. A big but rapidly diminishing white head forms over a well sparkling lightly pinkish golden colored body. The aroma has a vague hint of berries, not sure I'd recognize it if I didn't know it was there, but it's mostly fresh apple juice and apple peel, a generic fruity note and some grass hints. It's quite effervescent on the palate, mostly on the dry side, with an acidic touch. Full-bodied. The flavor has some lemon juice in the back, along with some berries that I struggle to conclude is blackberries, but at least there's some of that special almost bitter taste known to blackberries, and not that more acidic, fresh raspberry flavor. But of course, apple juice runs the show, with apple peel, some apple cores and grass as sidekicks. Perhaps a bit short finish, but else it's sure a fine berry-cider. 240420

Big fizzy shortlasting head, clear light pinkish color. Aroma is slightly dry fruity, apple peel, hay, flowers, yeast, yellow apples. sorrel. Taste is slightly dry sour-ish fruity, apple cores, sorrel, leafs, hay, flowers, yeast, apple peel, minerals, unripe apples, hints of sour berries. Medium bitterness, slightly harsh sour-ish fruity mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Fair enough, kind of boring.

0,75 flaske fra gårdsutsalget, delt med Kitty på hyttetur i Ilsvåg: lys rubinrød med kort bruseskum. Saftige epler og bjørnebær (mitt favorittbær ved siden av bringebær). Nydelig balansert og elegant sommerdrikke velegnet til helårsbruk.
