Kenmerken
Frisse granige aroma’s in de neus met een typisch kruidig accent van Chouffe bieren. Een frisfruitige body waarin een zachte bitterheid naar voren komt. De lichte bitterheid vloeit uit in een eerder droge afdronk. Verfrissend en dorstlessend.

Om vlak voor een tenniswedstrijd in de sfeer te komen, zonder je verwoestende backhand in gevaar te brengen.
Om je dorst te lessen na een lange rit, en nadien probleemloos weer op je eenwieler te stappen!

Tight white head on an unclear golden coloured body.
Malt, cereal & ashtray aroma.
Medium bodied, foamy with a cloying back.
Pale malt, biscuit, cereal & grain tastes.
Not sure what this is supposed to be - has no Chouffe characteristics & just tastes like a weak east European lager.
Poor.

From bottle during dinner at 't Zusje in Ede. Didn't take notes, enjoyed good food and good company. Remember it was mainly malty, hints of bread. Ok for a low alcohol beer.

Goudgeel troebel bier met mooie stevige schuimkraag.
Aroma en smaak is moutig alsof het bier nog niet klaar is.
Nasmaak is bitter.

So I am drying out for a few months and therefore diving head-first into the world of N/A beer and “spirit alternatives” - let’s fucking go! - this one pours a pale yellow with a sudsy head - watery body and texture - tastes a bit like a sour, watered-down Belgian single - slight hop bitterness - minimal Belgian yeast character - lightly bready finish and a little lingering bitterness - meh.

On this drinking day 194 years ago the Dutch failed in their attempt to end the Belgian Revolution. There's been quite a good revolution in low alcohol beers recently and this Belgian brew has a lovely texture and style making it a very worthwhile choice in this field as it feels pleasant in the palate. Taste is mildly bready.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours golden with a slight haze and a small, neat, white head. Lightly perfumy, coriandery aroma. The expected thin body, slightly fruity and quite fizzy. Absolutely no bitterness, but a bit yeasty. drinkable. 230525

Pours slightly hazed gold into a tulip. Bright white soapy head with good retention recedes leaving gloppy lacing. Corn and malt aromas. Crisp with sweet corn and malt front to back. Abrupt malt finish.
