Bottle picked up from Mr Hop, webshop Venray, Netherlands and consumed Saturday 15th November 2025 the first anniversary of Bob's passing. We had a Greek feast tonight, Souvlaki, Greek Salad, Deep Fried Mussels with Skordalia and Lemony Potatoes, then a long video call with Scott and Mandy. Pours a brownish colour, there's a slight haze, light beige head. Spicy nose with a little maltiness, some caramel both on the nose and in the mouth, also a little heavy on liquorice and some cinnamon which has a slight numbing effect. It's quite good but not really doing it for me.

Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is spicy with brown malt, caramel, cinnamon, some ginger, liquorice, cough syrup. Rather sweet with a bit of a sticky syrupy feel. Above medium body. Very spicy but alright.

Donkerbruin bier met schuim wat niet lang blijft staan. Smaak is vrij zoet en kruidig met duidelijk iets van anijs en wat karamel, kaneel en sinaasappel. Van de koriander en gember heb ik echter weinig bespeurt.

Bottle. Pours slightly hazy coffee brown with airy light tan head. Clear aroma of malt and caramel, with touches of yeast and herbal hints. Bitter, roasty and hoppy flavour with notes of barrel and malt, and touches of cloves and yeast. Bitter and spicy aftertaste, with touches of malt and yeast. Reasonable.
