Aromas are mildly tart caramel, spice, malt. Flavors are similar to nose, tart comes out a little more with some malt sweet in back. A different fairly easy drinking sour that would also be good to cook with.

Pours amber tinged gold with a very transient white head. Aroma of slight sour citrus. Med body. Very dry. Lightly, lightly sour. Lot's of fruit in a cidery way - apple and pear - skin. It is extremely approachable for a sour. Develops perry like characteristics over time. Really nice.

2020 vintage on draught at the brewery, 8/29/21.
Clear, amber-flecked-brass with a small, fizzy, off-white head.
Heavy champagne-yeast nose shows light autolysis and caramel. Dry, nutty with mixed culture elements contributing light lactic acid but thankfully little/no acetic. Malts are attenuated, obviously, but still provide a dough biscuit character that seems appropriate. Alcohol not noted, nor flaw.
Dry and well-textured with biscuit-dough-like malt supporting a strongly peppery, autolysis-like flavor with light lactic acidity. Hints of caramel and honey with more lingering spicy phenol on the end. Clean and free of warming or cloying, underfermented sugar. Very nice and elegant.

Bottle from my in-laws: pours gold with a white head. Aroma is yeasty, has white wine notes, some mellow fruitiness, stone fruits mostly. Taste is lightly sour, kind of sweet, alcohol is well covered. There are big fruity notes and a bit of a winy touch. Quite nice. 2019 bottle.
