Brace for impact because Baking and Entering has crashed onto the scene with such force, it's practically a flavour felony. We've raided the pantry for this colossal imperial stout, loading it up with hearty rolled oats and creamy lactose for a velvety, decadent texture. Then, for no good reason at all, we've infused miso caramel into the brew and chucked pineapple and maple in during fermentation just for the thrill of it. The outcome? A downright opulent dessert stout boasting a tantalizing hint of pineapple acidity, a profound umami richness from the miso, and a sweetness so intense it might as well be criminal, all accompanied by a whopping 9% ABV. THROW AWAY THE KEY.

Keg at BD Waterloo, 11/01/24. Lighter shade of black with a good sized khaki head. Nose is cocoa powder, toffee, dark malts, baking powder, ashen tones. Taste comprises toffee, roast malts, charr, cocoa powder, earthy, chocolate flakes, dried fruit rinds. Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Okay stout but lacking depth of flavour for 9%.
