Our amber ale is bursting full of flavour. It has a fruity nose on it along with that there is a slight toffee flavour but then comes the stemmed ginger and the hint of liquorice comes at the back of the throat.

Bottle. Drove Orchards probably. Soft haze on a pale amber. Very decent white foam buoyed no doubt by the quite high carbonation here. Nose has vague maltiness. Even more vague ginger and pretty much nonexistent hops. Taste pretty much follows suit. Quite fizzy. Dry thin finish. I really need to stop bringing back a shit load of shit every time I visit Norfolk. Well obviously I won’t. But I ought.

7/7/2021. Bottle bought at the brewery gate. Pours clear deep amber with a small frothy white head. Nice looking beer. Aroma of aniseed, ginger, biscuit, malt, bread, coriander, toffee, herbal tea. Medium sweetness and light bitterness. Moderate body, slightly watery, above average carbonation. Interesting brew, quite liked it.

[Cask at GBBF 2004] A dark amber beer with no head. The aroma contains loads of ginger, while the flavor is sweet and dominated by ginger, leading to a dry hoppy end.
