A bold and hoppy black IPA brewed with Citra & Amarillo hops. Punchy citrus flavours and fruity marmalade notes sing over the top of light roasty malt notes, with notes of pine. Moderate bitterness on the finish.

440ml Can - Very dark brown, almost black, with a tan head. Pine, liquorice, roasted malt, citrus and some soapy notes in the aroma. Pine, soap, liquorice, coffee and fudge in the taste. Slightly earthy and ashy finish.

Growler fill from the Low Cost Beer online shop. Pours a hazy dull brown with a thin beige head. Aromas of tropical fruit and cocoa. Taste is orange peel, menthol, dark fruit. Light bitter finish.

Cask @ Fox And Goose, Hebden Bridge. Dark amber-brown with a light-brown creamy head. Excellent mix of tropical fruit and dark malt, giving the latter a very tasty sweetness, coupled with a hint of chocolate.

440ml can. Almost black, beige head. Aroma of pine, citrus peel, roast and chocolate malts. Taste is more hoppy than it is malty, pine, citrus peel, grapefruit, malts are roasty and chocolatey, good balance. Great BIPA.

Can at home, 1st December 23. Pours a deep black, a little murky. Aroma is citrus, cocoa, grapefruit, chocolate. Taste is cocoa, aromatic, smooth, bitter, grapefruit infused chocolate, it’s a very decent BIPA.
