Can. Black, a cm of tan head. Aroma of cola, mocha, some roast. More roast upon a taste but it’s still mighty sweet before grinding bitterness attempts to reel it back at the end. A bit disjointed. Very strong for what it offers.

355ml can. Pours an opaque black with a small, creamy, short lived, brown head that laces. Semi-sweet aroma of roasted malt, molasses, dark chocolate, earth and coffee. Sweet flavour of roasted malt, licorice, molasses, brown sugar, vanilla, prune, dark chocolate and a hint of smoke in a warming booze finish. Full body with a thick, sticky, creamy, smooth, oily texture and soft carbonation. Complex and tasty.

Dark brown. Medium head. Lots of dark fruits, rich burnt fruit sugar, some alcohol, though it seems to clash a bit. Not bad. I think it lends itself well to a port treatment.

Poured from 355mL can. Black with tan head. Roast malt, mild molasses, simply done, but solid imperial stout.

12 oz. can, pours jet black with a medium brown head. Nose is full of deep roasted malt, burnt sugars, and dry molasses. Flavour is rich and deep, with a real nice roasted malt base, burnt and somewhat fermented out sugars, and molasses. The sugars are there, but it's actually on the drier side. The booze is buried, but felt more in the warming sense. Rich, roasty and molasse-y finish. Excellent.
