Tap at Goal, North Park, San Diego, 23rd February 25. This was a surprise for me - never heard of Ube, the beer poured a hazy soupy pink red! The aroma and the taste were really good, fruity, the ube of course and the combination worked - my most unusual beer from the San Diego Beer trip of 2025

A hazy pinkish red beer with a pinkish head. Aroma of red berries, dry grassy hops. Taste of red berries, blackcurrant, grassy hops.

Tap @Mikkeller, Vik. Very dark purple, light pink-ish head. Aroma has something like beetroot, but without the earthyness, some peanuts. Sweet flavour, daek berries and again some not-earthy beetroot.

Tap @ Mikkeller, Viktoriagade. Very dark purple with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, peanuts and herbal. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet and light bitter finish. 090524

Draft. Purple beer with a light purple head. Light potato aroma. Potato and light citrus flavor with light earth. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Potato and light earth linger.
