From tap at Borefts 2018. Aroma is heavy on the laurel, woods, plenty of spicy notes, liquorice, caramel, leaves. Flavour is above medium sweet and mildly bitter. Body is medium. Interesting beer, bit heavy on the laurel for my taste, but overall pleasant.

Rated at Suomenojan jätevedenpuhdistamo. Spicy, foresty and slightly earthy with some herbal notes, lichen, juniper, honey and roastiness. Interesting, quite untypical flavor profile

33cl bottle. Tasting at VastActiv. Poured dark brown in color, white hesad. Light smoked malts, toasty. Lingering finish.

(Bottle, 0.33 l, thanks VastActiv, at VastActiv, 20240802) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had burnt malts, heather and lichen. Palate was full bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, lichen, coffee, spruce sprouts, smoke and bitterness. Aftertaste was toasty, spicy, malty and bitter. Pleasant.

Bottle at home, Espoo. Color is very dark brown with very small head. Aromas and flavors: Lichen, some chocolate, dryness, some herbs.. weird.

330mL bottle, pours a deep dark brown / near-black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out earthy, forest-like twigs, juniper and toasted malt. Flavour is full of spruce and pine, light honey, and soil-like earthiness. Sprucey, earthy finish. Somehow this works really well. I'm impressed.

Bottle.Black with medium beige head.Aroma of herbs and licorice,hints of wood and earth to,good full body and strong finish.

On tap at Akkurat. Black with a small head. Sweetish with spruce, chocolate, malt and some juniper. Better than expected.

(Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm, 19 Feb 2022) Black colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with coffee, chocolate, liquorice and a touch of juniper. Malty, roasted taste with notes of cacao, chocolate, coffee, liquorice, a touch of cinnamon and a balanced roasty bitterness. Almost full body, with a touch of sweetness. Solid and well made porter. Very nice.
