Keg at If It Ain't Dutch, Enid Street, 12/06/24. Hazed orange with an off white cap that thins to the edge. Nose is sweet notes, passionfruit, biscuit, caramel. Taste comprises sweet malts, biscuit, stewed fruits, more subdued passionfruit than on the nose, herb, light spice. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Not bad.

330ml bottle. Hazy, orange, dark golden to amber colour with average, frothy, rapidly diminishing, minimally lacing, white head. Intense. tropical fruity aroma, notes of passion fruit, widely disgusied, wheaty malty background. Taste is initially sweet-ish and tart-ish, tropical fruity, notes of passion fruit, later additionally yeasty fruity and slightly wheaty malty, with hints of banana, minimally dry and leafy overtones; slightly bitter hoppy finish. Minimally creamy, watery texture, minimally dry and astrigent palate, medium, mildly prickly carbonation. Nice sweet and sour aspects, quite passion fruit dominated overall - funny.

Keg at If It Ain't Dutch. Hazy gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Light palate, semi dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Thinnish malts, a thin creamy sweetness with typical Weiss esters. Nice tart passion fruit lightens things up. Bubblegum esters on the semi dry finish. Entertaining, not sure I would want a pint.

Bottle at home shared with Laura. Ugly yellow orange color, small white head. Aroma and flavor are wheat, sweetness at first, clearly some passionfruit tart-ish notes in there after that. Quite refreshing actually.

0.33 l bottle from 'Het Biermeisje', bottled in February 2024. Hazy, pale orange with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, rather fruity, gently yeasty-spicy aroma of banana, clove, passion fruit and some honey. Gently sweet, moderately bitter, rather fruity and quite yeasty-spicy taste of banana, clove, lots of passion fruit and light honey, followed by a short, gently bitter finish. Medium to full body, smooth and quite effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Interesting brew, a bit too fruity for my liking, would rather like to try the pure base beer. Not even sure if passion fruit and the classic Weizenbock flavours match that well. Still quite enjoyable, for sure.
