Geinspireerd door de Amerikaanse Windmotor waarnaast wij brouwen. De American Pale Ale (APA) is een hoppig biersoort met Amerikaanse hoppen, die over het algemeen fruitiger aroma’s hebben dan de Europese. De APA is meestal minder zwaar en bitter dan een IPA.

Een licht moutig bier met fruitige hoparoma’s en een mild bittertje.

Mild hopfiger, süßlich karamelliger Beginn, dumpf. Wenig würzig, wässriger Körper, kurzer Abgang. Meh. 8/5/6/5/9/6

Bottle from Lekkerbier, Sint Nicolaasga. Malty aroma with faint fruity notes, mild bitterness. Some troubling notes of DMS. Body is medium. Not much of an APA, at all.

Ambar nebulosa. Escasa espuma poco duradera. Buen aroma de notas frutales y florales. Oleosa en boca, sabrosa, de poco gas y cuerpo medio con sabor muy agradable de base malteada y notas de miel, higos.

0.33 l bottle from 'Bierloods22', best before October 2023. Hazy, orangeish amber with a thin, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, gently fruity-floral, slightly resiny aroma of orange jam, mango, some pine and a touch of grains. Gently sweet, moderately bitter, quite fruity-floral taste of grains, orange jam, mango and tangerine, followed by a short, gently bitter, slightly resiny finish. Medium body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft to average carbonation. Solid Pale Ale, a little subdued and a bit too grainy.
