This is a blend of fresh IPA and an IPA that aged for one year on a red wine barrel from our friends of Contra Soarda with their indigenous yeast. This intense beer has resinous, lychee and rustic flavours.

A collab with the winehouse Contra Soarda which is located near the town of Bassano del Grappa, in the large Veneto area.

Bottle. Color: Clear golden, white head. Aroma: Tart, grape, leathery funk, wood, hoppy. Taste: Nice mix of fruity grape, quite strong leathery Brett funk and grassy hop. Bit vinuous. Moderate tart, sweet and bitter. Finish is dry, fruity grapeskin, oak wood and bitter hop. Medium body, just below average carbonation. Very interesting and nice. After some bit disappointing Grape beers from Oedipus, this one hits the highscore again for me. Must try for Brett lovers.

0.375 l bottle from 'Drankgigant.nl', bottled in November 2020. Slightly hazy, golden amber with a medium large, slightly fluff, quickly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, very fruity, rather funky aroma of cat pee, mango, orange and some red wine. Slightly sweet, moderately sour, very funky, rather fruity and gently vinous taste of orange, mango, red wine, cat pee, wood, red wine and barnyard, followed by a medium long, gently bitter, slightly tart, rather funky, woody-dry finish. Medium body, slightly astringent and gently effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Interesting, quite complex beer, lots of Brett and red wine but still recognizable as an IPA.
