Dit moutige, amberkleurige bier heeft een licht gerookte smaak door het gebruik van rookmout in de moutbasis. Door de toevoeging van klassieke Amerikaanse hoppen heeft het een licht bittere afdronk met tonen van dennen.

(Draught at Arendsnest, Amsterdam, 17 Feb 2024) Amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty nose with notes of caramel, dark bread, orange peel and a mild smoke touch. Malty, slightly roasty taste with orange peel, caramel, rye, a touch of smoke and a mild spicy bitterness. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Tasty and well balanced with a gentle smoke touch. Nice one.

0.33 l can from 'Rebelbeercans'. A bit hazy, deep reddish amber with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, off-white head. Sweetish-malty, gently smoky, slightly fruity-resiny aroma of caramel, orange jam, pine and a touch of smoked ham. Quite sweet, malty, moderately bitter, gently fruity-resiny and slightly smoky taste of caramel, smoked ham, pine, honey and orange jam, followed by a short, gently bitter finish. Medium to full body, smooth and slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Interesting beer, rather piney than smoky, rather americanised.
