Panda at home, thanks to Kenneth, 16/10/2025.
Deep mahogany brown topped with a beige cap that thins to a swirl.
Nose is big on bourbon, spice, tangy fruit esters, toffee, oak.
Taste comprises caramel, dried fruit esters, dates, light vinous notes, bourbon kissed oak.
Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close
Tidy sipper but not from the top drawer of the BA BW family.

Can. Near clear deep amber - brown beer, small bubbly pale tan head. Light palate, semi dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Thin bodied malts, some light creamy sweetness, mildly tangy caramel. Estery bourbon soaked ripe fruits. A mild alcohol spice on the light and semi dry finish. Certainly rich enough for me, smoothness, not so much. Might taste better in a decade.

Can from BiervanEijk, Steenwijk. Lots of raisins with bourbon, caramel, brown/dark malt, oak, some alcohol in the finish. Touch of marzipan. Medium sweet, light bitter and boozy. Above medium body, mild sticky. Rather pleasant notes of Wild Turkey.

Can thanks to my bro. It pours darkest brown to black with a small off - white head. The aroma is toasty malt, rich roast, oily, unctuous, booze soaked oak, quite savoury, coconut, vanilla, heady bourbon vibes, walnut, chocolate bourbons biscuits and earth. The taste is slick, oily, bitter - sweet, oily, cola, dried fruits, raisin, sultana, plenty of bourbon, bourbon soaked oak, nuttiness, tannin, vanilla, green coconut, chewy, toothy, werther's original and toffee with a drying finale. Fulsome body and average carbonation. Quite a grown up beverage. Strikes a nice balance, never too sweet. Fun stuff.
