Bottle, 4.7%. Faintly roasted aroma. Dark brown colour, seems clear or perhaps slightly unclear. Almost no head. The flavour is nicely roasted with a touch of liquorice. Sour/acidic finish, perhaps bordering on infected, but still tastes all right. Bready aftertaste.

Bottle. Pours clear dark copper brown with airy light tan head. Clear aroma of malt and caramel, with touches of yeast and hops. Bitter, hoppy flavour with sourish notes (off?) and touches of nuts, caramel, and malt. Estery aftertaste with nutty notes. Reasonable, but needs re-rating.

0.33 l bottle from 'EDEKA Knudtsen', best before August 2023. A little hazy, dark ruby with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, beige head. Sweetish-malty, slightly fruity aroma of caramel, nuts and raisins. Quite sweet, malty, gently roasty and moderately fruity taste of caramel, dark chocolate, coffee, toasted nuts and raisins, followed by a short, gently roasty-bitter finish. Medium body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice Schwarzbier, tastes pretty much like a bottom-fermented Guinness Draught.
